Gold Fever Follies

The Story

Every summer for the past 24 years, the Gold Fever Follies  have put on a  different show, each loosely based on the historic events and people of Rossland’s early gold rush days.

This year’s Trapped in the Murphy Inn, written by Warfield local and past Follies member, Brian Turner, is about a miner whose fear is being trapped in the mines. He has to live the scenario when he and a handful of others, including historical figures, Father Pat and Olaus Jeldness, become trapped in the Murphy Inn. As they desperately try to find an escape, the miner's attention is captured by an enchanting dancing hall girl. Can he keep his composure while living his worst nightmare?
