Marnie has lived in Rossland for 43 years. She has been involved in theatrical productions for most of those years with Theater Unlimited, RLOP and Phoenix Theatre. She has won three Best Actress awards in Regional Theater competitions. She has also directed various productions for RLOP including Brigadoon, Anything Goes, and co-directed Anne of Green Gables with Lisa Henderson. Her favourite directorial job was Tony and Tina’s Wedding. She has written and performed in many skits in THE ENEMA AWARDS, been a Queen Elizabeth impersonator, and written and performed in a number of skits as fundraisers for several charities in the Trail area. This GFF production is her first stab at writing a “proper” play and she appreciates the valuable input that Lisa Henderson made to help with the writing…a wonderful collaboration.
